High-street make up vs High brand make up.

I'm back!

I know I haven't posted in so so long and I'm reaaaally sorry. I've been abit stuck on idea's on what to do for my next blog post.. and this is what I came up with..
'high-street make-up vs High Brand make up'
Now, You've probably seen something like this before, when someone reviews/compares two make up items, one being high street and one being high brand.
First of all i'd like to start off with a ramble,
something i hear quite alot is..
''the more you pay for something the better the quality''
and to some extent i do agree, but then again i do disagree..
If someone came up to me and asked if i could tell the difference between a £10 primark jumper and an Alexandra McQueen jumper i'm pretty sure everyone would be able to notice which one is better quaility. you don't have to have an A* in fashion for that one..
but i think make up is different, you could go into superdrug and buy a £6 blusher and then you could go to selfridges and buy a similar blusher that has a £30 price tag and without knowing which is which you probably wouldn't be able to tell them apart.
So why do we buy high brand make up if something the fraction of the price does the same job?
Well we buy 'luxury' make up because it makes us feel good, you instantly feel a million dollars when you apply that product that you spent a fortune on..
Every girl needs to treat herself now and again.
but lets face it we do not need them..

Yes, most highbrand make-up contains better quality ingredients.. but that doesn't necesserially mean its good.. no make up is 'good' for your skin.. But in saying this i would check what is in your make up, i.e i don't recommend buying a £2 foundation because that is most likely to break you out very very badly!

An Advantage of buying high brand make up is if your not satisfied with it you can return or exchange the item.. but with high-street this is not the case, if you don't like it.. tuff you have to live with it..

Don't always go for the pricey option just because its high branded if you can get it cheaper!

Series one of 'high-street make up vs high brand make up'' will be coming soon!
