Lingerie shopping - my top tips.

Lingerie shopping can be really frustrating and let's be honest, most of us have no clue what we're really looking for. So today i'm going to be sharing my top tips with you, so that you can fully understand what you need to do to make sure you purchase the best for you, to help you feel sexy, attractive and comfortable.

1. Make sure your buying the perfect fit! -  whether you go to victoria secret, ann summers, la senza etc.. make sure you get the right fit. Take your time to get fitted correctly, as there is no point in buying something that you are never going to wear. Wearing the correct bra size lift's, contours and shapes your figure. I recommend getting fitted every 6 months at least.

2.Ensure the bra under your bust is level and snug, but not too tight. Many people are wearing a band size too big and a cup size too small!

3. Feel good in what your choosing! - chances are your buying your Lingerie with someone special in mind, if you don't feel comfortable in what you have selected then you aren't going to feel good wearing it for someone else.

4. Be in the mood to shop! -  although this seems obvious, how many times have you gone out shopping looking for some gorgeous outfit to wear out, only to fall out of your shopping mood because nothing works for you?  Lingerie is the only item that requires the right mood. Department store mirrors and fluorescent lighting don't always flatter your body.

5.If you don't feel comfortable shopping for this type of item in public then you can always buy online, order a bunch of items that take your fancy in a range of sizes and styles, try them on in your own home, but always check the returns policy so you can always return  whatever you decide against.

I hope this was help to you all!

I heart fall tag

Okay So.. this tag has been flying around and although i'm probably one of the last people to do it, i'm still going to give it a go lol. so here it is..

question 1. what is your favorite fall lip product?
This is quite a hard question for me, because i don't really change my lip products that much. Although when autumn/winter comes i do change my evening lipstick so i guess that's what i'll have to label as my 'favorite fall lip product' haha. and it would have to be, Mac's Russian Red lipstick.

Question 2. what is your favorite fall nail product?
I have 2 potential favorites, aha. The first one, is Barry M nail Varnish, in 'Raspberry' which is just a really perfect berry red, or Essie's nail varnish in 'stylenomics' which is a really dark green, both very different colors.

Question 3. Favorite Starbucks fall drink?
I hardly ever go to Starbucks  i'm more of a costa kinda girl, But when i do go i either order a pumpkin spice latte, or a salted caramel mocha or just a signature hot chocolate with cream mm

Question 4. Favorite Fall Candle?
Probably Yankee's sparkling cinnamon candle.

Question 5. Favorite Fall scarf or accessory.
A nice Big chunky knit scary, mittens and one of those fur headband things. i don't know what they're called haha

Question 6. Haunted House, Haunted hay ride or haunted corn maze?
I've only ever been to a haunted house and even that was rubbish lol. Haunted Hay rides and corn maze's don't exist in the UK. :(

Question 7. Favorite Halloween movie?
I don't really watch movie's, i get bored too easily lol but i did go to see paranormal activity 4 the other day so i guess that would be it.

Question 8.  Favorite candy to eat on Halloween?
From what I've seen from these tags, this question is mostly popular with people from the USA. Here in the UK we don't really have a favorite Halloween sweet, i guess a box of celebrations would do me fine lol.

Question 9. What are you dressing up as on Halloween?
Sadly this year i'm not dressing up or doing anything for Halloween :( but if i was going to dress up i'd probably go as chucky.

Question 10. What if your favorite thing about fall?
Being able to wear my warm clothes and boots, and snuggling up indoors :)

Hope you enjoyed reading this, i tag anyone who wants to do this.

Anya Hindmarch A/W 2012 collection.

Anya Hindmarch produces a selection of gorgeous handbags that fulfil a variety of crowds, so many of you will be super duper excited about her new collection which features crinkled leathers inspired by sweet wrappers. Also in the collection there are a range of classic totes with statement hardware so there is defiantly something for everyone!

Here i have picked out some of my favourites..

Belvedere Large high shine leather in navy £895.
This tote bag is so versatile and can be worn either fastened and pulled together or loose and un-done, in the hand or across the body. There are many other colours to choose from but I like navy because its abit more updated to a typical black bag but then its still a safe everyday bag.

Belvedere Small high shine leather in medium grey. £695
A smaller version of the Belvedere Large.

Gloria Tote - Satsuma

Gloria Tote butter leather in satsuma. £1,450.
Crafted in the softest butter calf leather. What really catches my eye about this bag is the clean, graphic lines and the pockets aswell as the colour of course haha!

Small Huxley Tote - Satsuma

Small Huxley tote woven leather in satsuma . £1,150.
This bag has quite a simple design, the oversized maxi zip and the tassel give it just the right amount of detail. Its a really pretty but practical bag.

Oakley - Black
Oakley tote, black nylon. £495
This a really pretty nappy bag that has a place for everything a baby needs, from bottles to nappies. It evens comes with its own changing matt.

Gloria Clutch - Satsuma
Gloria Clutch bag, butter leather in  satsuma. £750
Just like the tote bag in this collection this clutch has very clean, graphic lines and a very structured design.

Valorie - Satsuma
Valorie Glitter fabric in satsuma. £350.
I love anything with abit of glitter! This is probably my favourite piece of the collection, its a very sleek but elegant clutch. Envelope style, soft leather flap, suede lining and a signature twist lock.

Bonkers Cynthia - Mouse
Bonkers Cynthia leather in mouse. £2,500
Adorned with sparkling jewels, beads and crystal, the bonkers Cynthia which is an ultimate party bag. A very glamours piece.

Gracie Clutch - Dark Plum
Gracie Clutch, satin in dark plum. £450.
A very sophisticated, compact clutch which can either be held or worn over the shoulder with a detachable jewellery-like gold linked chain.

Marano - Coal
Marano, shagreen in coal. £1,100
Very sleek and timeless piece.

Pimlico - Navy
Pimlico, High shine leather in navy. £995
Very classic, both practical and effortless stylish in design.

Art bag in black calf leather. £895.
A simple, chic versatile tote bag.

Carker - Medium Grey
Carker bag in medium grey calf leather. £995
Another very classic bag which can be carried over the shoulder or the hand, a real keeper.
With a never neat outside pocket for easy mobile phone access and beautiful enamel lock.

There are alot more bags in this collection like i've said i only picked out a few.

Hope you enjoyed!

High-street Vs Designer.

Every Girl needs a pair of statement heels, and valentino's sleek pair of black old studded toe-cap pumps are top on my designer dream list but the price tag is just toooooo much so instead i've found these affordable versions by daisystreet.co.uk
£36.99 daisystreet.co.uk
Valentino
£465 Valentino.

Steal their style.

Caroline Flack.

Caroline Flack loves her shorts, as we all know. She always wears high-street brands as well as designer meaning girls can use her as inspiration as they too can go out and buy the exact same items.

Recently she was seen wearing a pair of denim scallop edge shorts and a check shirt.

I really admire the fact that Caroline wears high-street clothing as it shows she still down to earth and isn't so caught up in money and wearing all designer.

Hurry before they sell out!

Fashion Fix #2.

Studded collar shirts.

forget plain, boring shirts. Its all about shirts with a pimped up collar covered in studs.
It all started in 2009, prada introduced them in its autumn winter collection.
I love these because they are just so easy to wear, no need to fuss over which necklace to wear and you can can dress them up and down.. by pairing them with shorts, patterned leggings, high wait skirts, jeans just about anything.

Olivia Palermo
I love Olivia's style she always looks so chic and simple yet so stylish she's absolutely gorgeous.. recently she was spotted out and about wearing a lovely cream pleated skirt, a pair of beige pumps, a cute pleated pattern top which is perfect for adding some colour to your summer wardrobe.

To get Olivia's look you can get this gorgeous spotted pleated sleeveless blouse from here
reduced from £140 to £59!
defiantly an investment piece for summer as you can team it with many things.

High-street make up vs High brand make up.

I'm back!

I know I haven't posted in so so long and I'm reaaaally sorry. I've been abit stuck on idea's on what to do for my next blog post.. and this is what I came up with..
'high-street make-up vs High Brand make up'
Now, You've probably seen something like this before, when someone reviews/compares two make up items, one being high street and one being high brand.
First of all i'd like to start off with a ramble,
something i hear quite alot is..
''the more you pay for something the better the quality''
and to some extent i do agree, but then again i do disagree..
If someone came up to me and asked if i could tell the difference between a £10 primark jumper and an Alexandra McQueen jumper i'm pretty sure everyone would be able to notice which one is better quaility. you don't have to have an A* in fashion for that one..
but i think make up is different, you could go into superdrug and buy a £6 blusher and then you could go to selfridges and buy a similar blusher that has a £30 price tag and without knowing which is which you probably wouldn't be able to tell them apart.
So why do we buy high brand make up if something the fraction of the price does the same job?
Well we buy 'luxury' make up because it makes us feel good, you instantly feel a million dollars when you apply that product that you spent a fortune on..
Every girl needs to treat herself now and again.
but lets face it we do not need them..

Yes, most highbrand make-up contains better quality ingredients.. but that doesn't necesserially mean its good.. no make up is 'good' for your skin.. But in saying this i would check what is in your make up, i.e i don't recommend buying a £2 foundation because that is most likely to break you out very very badly!

An Advantage of buying high brand make up is if your not satisfied with it you can return or exchange the item.. but with high-street this is not the case, if you don't like it.. tuff you have to live with it..

Don't always go for the pricey option just because its high branded if you can get it cheaper!

Series one of 'high-street make up vs high brand make up'' will be coming soon!

My Skin Care Routine.

Hello girls,
alot of you have been asking me to do a post on my skincare routine, so here it is!

I know i only got this the other day but i'm already loving the liz earle cleanse and polish! This is my new addition to my skin care routine.

Every morning and every night i use the cleanse and polish, by filling my sink with warm water then applying two pumps of the cleanser to my face, rubbing it in using circular movements then rinising it off with a muslim cloth an patting my face dry.

After I've cleansed i then apply my simple soothing facial toner, I apply this with a cotton pad. This just removes any traces of  the cleanser and temporialy closes my pores ready for moisturisation.

After i've applied my toner i use my caudaile SOS serum that i got in this monhs glossy box just to keep my skin fully moisturised, after that i finally move on to my last step which is applying my monu moisture rich collagen cream.

And then i'm all done!

What's your skincare routine?

See you all soon!

The weather has been horrible, so i was stuck indoors all day and getting to sleep was a nightmare..

My week didn't start off too great, I was off school because i was so ill, i had a horrible sore throat and was constantly sneezing, not nice! By wednesday i was so bored of sitting at home in bed i forced myself to go in.. what a good little girl i am haha.

Fashion Fix. #1

I've decided I'm going to be doing a series of posts called 'fashion fix' its where I tell you you a latest trend, show you a selection of my favourite items following that trend and I give you a few tips on how to wear the items.
it may sound complicated as I'm not very good at explaining myself ha ha! but you'll understand once you've read all of below.

Crop Tops.

Crop tops are a big thing at the moment, celebrities from Shenae Grimes to Cher Lloyd have been sporting this look.

They are quite a tricky trend because one you have to have the figure to pull them off and secondly you have to make them look pretty and femine and not tacky!

1. Do Choose a shirt with a tie front instead of a full on crop top, these just give a little more coverage and look very pretty and girly.

River island - £18.
2. Don't overdo the Tan, you want a bronzed belly not an orange one! Being an Essex girl I am a big fan of fake tan but one thing I hate is girls who wear crop tops and have an orange belly hanging out, there's nothing more that screams tacky!

3. Do wear an A-line skirt with your crop top, it will help your waist look teeny-tiny even if its not.

3. Team High waisted bottoms with your crop top. Your Upper middle is usually slimmer so this will be more flattering.

5. Don't wear your crop top with leggings, really? Can you not notice that camel toe you've got!

6. Don't squash your boobs into a crop top.. this might be hard for you girls who have a D cup or over so maybe you should give this trend a miss!

7. Add Extra layers underneath if your not super body confident or if its too cold outside! a black top paired with a white lace/crochet crop top looks lovely!

8.Don't flash too much flesh! if you have your belly out you don't need your legs out too, not that anyone in the UK would even think of doing that in this weather, lol you'd be surprised!

plain and simple - topshop. £28
miss selfridge - £20.

My first experience.. Liz Earle Cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser.

As you may already know from my Haul post today I got the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I've wanted this product for so long as its been raved about alot!

I've just used it for the very first time and I just want to quickly share my thoughts on it, because I've only used it once I cant really comment on whether I love it or hate it yet, but so far its looking good!

It took all my make up off lovely and just made me feel all clean, I was expecting a mousse cream to come out of the bottle but its just a really thick creamy substance.

I simply Filled my sink with warm water and then applied two pumps of the cleanse and polish onto my face, (dry) and then i used my fingertips to gently massage it into my face and neck. The Lady at the Liz Earle counter suggested i work in circular movements from the centre of my face outwards, which i did. I massaged it over my eyelids and eyelashes last to avoid getting eye make up all over my face.

I then rinsed my muslim cloth in the warm water and wringed it out so it was damp, not wet and then used the cloth to wipe off the cream using a clean section for each part of my face. After all the cream had been removed i rinsed my skin with cool water and pat my skin dry.

My skin feels really lovely and soft and very moisturised, not dry at all. Most cleansers i have used tend to dry out my skin, so at the moment this one is looking good!

Have any of you got the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish? What are your thoughts on it?

See you all soon!

Haul. - H&M, Liz Earle, Primark + more.

Hello lovelies!

So today I went for a little shopping trip at westfields in Stratford. Me and my mum didn't have anything to do so thought we'd go have a little spend up, I didn't get that much though but nothing really caught my eye.

Firstly we went into boots because I really wanted to pick up the real techniques stippling brush as alot of people on you tube have this and really rave about it, so here I am in boots hunting down the make up brushes after 10minutes of searching I finally find what I am looking for, no questions about it I was going home with this brush! I was expecting it to be around £20 but surprisingly it was a really good price at £11.99, bargain!

It feels so soft! I love the fact that it stands up on its own so will sit perfectly on my dressing table and I love the fact that its pink! I haven't used it yet but as
soon as I do I'll give you my opinion!

Then we went into primark. If I'm honest I don't really like the primark in westfields at Stratford I think its rubbish, they never have nice clothing in there and its all abit mix matched, I wouldn't say its the worst primark because that's definitely the one in Oxford street! But its not great, so i tried to find some nice clothing pieces but was unsuccessful nothing caught my eye so instead i headed over the underwear bit which is probably the best part of this shop! and a few bra's, most of the bra's I got are just plain so i can wear under white tops but i got two cute patterned ones as shown below.

mocha bra - £5. came as a set with the bottoms. Terracotta bra -£6 both primark.

For ages I've been wanting the Liz Earle cleanse and polish but I've never really been anywhere that sells it,
i know John lewis stock it and there is one in westfields so we went in there to check it out and see what they were selling,
they had a Liz Earle counter so I rushed over to pick up the cleanse and polish before I could think about it and change my mind, the woman on the counter was really helpful and suggested I buy the starter pack that comes with 2 Muslim clothes,
I was expecting this to be around £25 but again to my surprise it was only £14! I could not believe it.  Again I've heard so many good things about this product and
cannot wait to use it.

Then we had a quick peak in H&M there was a few items I saw that I did really like, there was some print jeans I wanted but they didn't have them in my size and there was some maxi dresses I really liked but decided not to buy them until the weather gets abit nicer :( so instead I settled for a new baby doll nightie and a sparkly sequin jumper.

£24.99 H&M
Close up view.

Baby doll nightie H&M - £12.99

Hope you liked my post! See you all soon!

Overall. - I love all the products in this months glossy box as I'm really into skincare at the moment, But I'm not really into all organic and eco-friendly things on the market, Although they are probably better for my skin and mean i'm doing good for the environment I find they're too expensive and hard to find. I'd rather stick to brands i know.

If your interested in purchasing glossybox for £10 a month, simply go to 'www.glossbox.co.uk'
